Welcome to my ridiculous world.
If there is a slot in my schedule and I am asked to do something, I say yes. If there is an evening free and I haven't volunteered lately, I search for a project on nycares.org and commit. If there is a cultural event in the city, I am bound to find it. If there is an opportunity to mash all my random friends of friends together into one fun event, I plan it. If there is a deal on arts - cheap tickets to see dance, opera, museums or concerts - I'm there.
I am constantly searching for free, cheap or just fun (and sometimes not so cheap) events in NYC. I e-mail blast all my friends with all the possible things to do with their time. So not only am I obsessed with learning more, experiencing more and getting more out of life, I have now put this pressure on my poor friends as well.
I figured I could condense all my crazy into one cute little blog. If an afternoon finds you bored, perhaps my blog could lead you to some revelry. If you are an overcommitter like me, I've done the dirty work. If you are looking for a better use of your time than lying in the sun or drinking booze (believe me, I enjoy both), I can lead you to non-profit volunteering euphoria.
Mostly, this is just a 'lil blog about what I'm up to, what I'm obsessing over, and what's going on in the near future. Enjoy.
